I like this plate, I think it’s simple and pretty. I also think that if a plate is as minimal as this, it has to be almost perfect. A little more care to your pesto dots and sauceing will really make it shine!

Tell me if I’m crazy, but maybe sous vide the portobello to keep a bit more of the color and integrity of the mushroom, then pour melted cheese in after and salamander/torch?
Maybe even a light pickled portobello for some acidity.

It looks absolutely delicious, but also very flat, literally. Maybe if the photo was from a different angle I wouldn’t think so? I just wish it had a bit more height.

I feel like this is really really close. Other comments said clean up the dots/sauce which I agree with, but I’m also not a fan of the parsley on the plate, I think it looks out of place with the minimalism of the rest of the dish.
