1st, softboil an egg (place in boiling water for 6 minutes). Remove in a bowl of ice and water to shock stop cooking (about 5 minutes). Wrap in raw sausage ( I took links, removed casing, and flattened out). Fry until done 🤤🤤😋

Looks like it’s lacking the crispy crust on the outside?

Yolk looks good, nice and runny. Would generally be coated with breadcrumbs on the outside before being fried though.

I’ve made a ton of scotch eggs just because I thought it was interesting. I eventually stopped because it’s so much easier to just fry a flat sausage patty and top it with a fried egg, which I think is a better eggs. It’s also easier to throw on top of some hash browns and cover it hot sauce.

Not sure what that is, but most definitely not a scotch egg.

It’s meant to be coated in breadcrumbs. I’m sure it tastes good but this isn’t a scotch egg
