So, I see you really grinding out a lot of quality work, is this a hobby? Are you building up social media material? Just curious what the goal is.

I like the work here. I WOULD offer the criticism that it’s a list of techniques that are already popular, or very commonly used in influencer food media.

Also, I realize that the layers between the cookies are being covered, but it’s a good time to practice precision, and it’s odd to show those filling layers in photos if they’re not as elegant or precise as the visible final work.

All in all, I’d you’re a hobbyist, you’re progressing in leaps and bounds and it’s fun to watch you grow.

  2. Looks great! Only thing I would change is putting the milk wafer on top of everything, it’ll add height and look that more elegant.

  3. Looks like a nice plate, but I’d personally lose or greatly reduce the amount of milk foam. It just looks unappetizing on an other wise very cool dessert

  4. You’re crushing it dude. I’ve been flip-flopping between food/bev and another professional career track for my entire life, so I get where your head is at.

Curious, do you have prior experience or are you going to have to eat shit doing prep for a year and then claw your way up from the line to get to put this stuff into practice?

I really like the concept and individual components, also pretty good technical execution in my opinion. Main issue for me would be the balance (mainly in presentation) between the two naming components.

Initial presentation will only show the „milk“ components, the cookie aspect might get a bit lost in regard to optics.

Veil looks very good though and whilst none of the techniques are revolutionary/groundbreaking they look well done and should give great textural variety

  6. Normally I would say “I miss color” but the contrast with the black plate it doesn’t need color. Beautiful, it looks like you got some noir-style inspiration.

Great looking plate, really well done! Do you mind sharing where you get your plates/dinnerware from? I’ve followed your work for a bit and you have a great collection
