    I’m sure its very delicious, but I’m not sure about this plating. The dark plate with the brown colored food is a bit off-putting for me. The mushroom on the spinach on the puree also feels a bit disconnected and distracts from the perfectly cooked duck. I’m not sure its necessary to have the mushroom at all, but its hard to really get a feel for the colors with the gray plate sucking the life away.

  2. Might help it pop if you lay the duck in the same spot but so the cut side is facing up, the skin facing away, dollop of potato next to the bottom side of the duck, spinach above that along the bottom of the duck, and maitake placed in a few spots with some height to em.
