Cook at a lower temp but the first one is always the tester then the rest will get better. Add a bit of oil or butter to the pan before putting the batter in.

It’s tiny bit dark, but this is what homemade pancakes are supposed to look like. I’d call that a success.

It seems like you cooked it in high temperature 🙃. Cook with lower temperature so you have enough time to flip it and not burn the pancake. Also try to spread it little thicker.
Hope you would do better next time. Keep cooking

Everybody should have told you the first pancake is always wasted. Show us the second and third from that batch!

Patience in cooking is one of the hardest lessons I had to learn. The right burner temp is different for different stoves (electric) and pots/pans. This looks great for a first attempt, just need a slightly lower temp and you’ll be golden on the next batch!

The whole, first pancake is always bad, thing isn’t actually true. If you get the skillet to the right temp and oil it correctly then everything’s fine. The people who say that just don’t do it correctly.
