    This really is such a beautiful plate. I love the contrast of the fruit on the plate. I’m not sure why but the grapefruit segments look so delicate and delicious.

    I’ve never poached octopus in olive oil but that sounds interesting, can you elaborate a bit if you don’t mind?

  3. I like that it looks alive- the whole plate- and as if the tentacles could start winding themselves around the rice or the chop sticks.

    why not use forbidden rice in the first place?
    way more vibrant colour, plus a unique and imo here quite fitting taste 🙂

  5. I absolutely love the look of your dish, and it sounds delicious! My only suggestion would be to use a lighter plate color, so the squid ink rice stands out a bit more.
