Going on a long hike at weekend- is this a good amount of food? We are eating afterwards too but not planned cals. Last time I ate 2000cal on a day I did 15miles (including dinner)

I usually eat 1300-1500 calories a day, and 1600-1700 on days I exercise.
I think I should eat like 2200-2500 on this day but I haven’t factored in dinner yet.
Maybe I should make a packup for that but I don’t know what I would eat, plus we may be stopping somewhere ^_^
If anyone has advice that would be great! Last time people didn’t seem to eat loads which I found a little weird but I guess that’s why I only had 1900cal (and my dinner after was 900 cal so technically I only ate 1000 on the walk which is pretty bad)
I would up your calorie intake. You’re definitely gonna need more than 2k calories walking 24 miles. From a quick search, a 24 mile walk would burn at least 1k calories alone. You might want to go closer to 3k calories.
