—————————— COOKING PART 1: FLAVORING THE VEGGIES

01- Set your Stove to Medium Heat (6/10)

02- Cook the Bacon Squares on the Stove top in a large Pan or Pot until they are barely becoming Crispy.

03- Pour in the Diced Onions, Bell Peppers, and Habanero with the Bacon.

04- Continue cooking for 4 minutes.

05- Add Minced Garlic Cloves to the Pot.

06- Stir until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed.

—————————— COOKING PART 2: THE MEAT

07- Add the Ground Beef.

08- Stir the Beef into the mixture while it cooks, and continue stirring as needed until all Beef is no longer Red.

09- Add 2 Tablespoons of Tomato Paste to Pot to thicken the Chili, 3 if you want it extremely thick, 4 if you want no soupiness at all.

10- Add the Side-Bowl of Spices to the mixture.

11- Continue Cooking and Stirring for 1 minute. (Enjoy the aroma!)

—————————— COOKING PART 3: LETS MAKE CHILI!

12- Add the Fire-Roasted Tomatoes, All of the Beans, Corn, 2 Cups Beef Broth, and 1 Bay Leaf to the pot.

13- Stir, Set heat to high.

14- Bring to a Boil.

15- The moment the mixture begins to boil, reduce the heat to medium-low (4/10).

16- Simmer for 1 hour. (You can simmer for 2 hours to deepen the flavor, time permitting, or use a slow cooker for even longer to make it taste-gasmic.)

17- Remove the Bay Leaf (seriously; they're not edible.)

18- Let cool to thicken, then serve and Top with Chopped Parsley, Cheese, or Sour Cream to finish it off!

19- Enjoy your meal!

Note: Cooking the Veggies in the Bacon Fat allows them to absorb the flavor profile of the veggies, and really gives the taste that extra 'oomph'!

Note: Chopping all of the Veggies into equal sized pieces ensures the same flavor and consistency with every bite.

Note: Draining the Beans and Tomatoes thoroughly keeps the Chili from becoming Soupy.

Note: If using Beef that is below 80% lean, pre-cook it a bit and drain the liquid to prevent Soupy Chili.

Note: 3 types of beans is idea to avoid overloading your tastebuds!
