Homemade Old Bay flavored hot water washed curd cheese. It’s named Rind of the Ancient Marylander. The Old Bay flavor is awesome!
I steeped a ridiculous amount of Old Bay in saturated brine for a week, strained the solids and brined the cheese in the slurry. Came out absolutely delicious. Happy little experiment!

As an ancient Marylander myself, I salute you!
A+ name!
Judging from the name, I bet it would make a great wedding gift.
Recipe? YouTube video? How did you make this
That name is a work of art. Be proud.
You had me at old bay, and you double had me at that perfect name
I read “hot dog water”

This would be so good in cheese straws!
I approve this message.
I don’t like puns, but I love this one.
I used to dust sharp cheddar with Old Bay when I lived in MD. Gonna have to try it again!
