I have never liked cheese. Other than on pizza covered by meat, I have basically eaten no cheese in over 5 decades of living. I’ve tried many in the US and abroad, and just never found much that I would want again. Until yesterday.

At the end of a trip to Cuba, we stopped at a restaurant in Camagüey with our cab driver and ordered some Tostones Rellenos. It came covered in crumbled white cheese. Our driver called it creole (I think), but my googling only comes up with that as a cream cheese.

If anyone knows what the cheese is on top of the tostones in the pic, you can rest knowing you’ve moved at least one anti-cheeser more towards the middle! (I can’t promise more than that!)

Thanks for any help!
