    Looks great. Next time, try putting the beurre blanc down first then scallops so you can see that sear. It looks great and the flavor sounds perfect.

    I think a different colored plate would make it pop more.

    Either black or white, maybe light gray.

  3. Meyer lemon beurre blanc sounds wonderful! I’m in love with citrus things.

    The dish itself sounds great. The plate is a little weird. It almost looks like rusted metal? Maybe the plate looks better in person and with other dishes. With this one there’s a lot of the same color palette and the plate is kinda taking away from the food. My eyes saw plate before any of the food.

    More importantly, the sauce is covering the scallops and they deserve to shine! As others said maybe put the sauce down first?
