Here is your daily cheese facts: Shorrock’s Lancashire Bomb is a classic and widely recognized Lancashire cheese, encased in traditional round black wax. Made from cow’s milk, the cheese is matured for 24 months and is suitable for vegetarians. Enjoy its delicious taste on its own as a delightful nibbling cheese, or elevate the experience by pairing it with fruits or red wine.

Kinda happy and sad at the same time to see this get its spotlight on the sub. IMHO probably the worst cheese I have ever had. The cheese itself is like a totaly generic and flavorless mild cheddar. What makes it the worst is the blatant marketing inherent. They make it look like a bomb to grab attention (don’t know the history of it, possibly it has a history where it was made this way then they made the connection). So you get it and Jesus it is such a let down. The texture is fine but the flavor is non existent.
