Getting back into cheese after a few years away. Lurking this subreddit for months, decided to make my first post. Langres (France/cow) was a buttery brioche cream. West West Blue (Vermont/cow) tasted like a hybrid of blue cheese and Gouda with slightly funky earth undertones. Piper’s pyramid (Indiana/goat) is luxuriously dense, savory, slightly dry with a sharp acid or peppery mid palate. Bread is home made, oven baked by dinner host and friend.

Those are some heavy hitters, for sure. Love West Wst, we don’t get it often enough where I am.

Curious which jame you selected to go with those flavors?
