I’m using stock images but I am always on the lookout for new cheeses to try whenever I go to the store. Credit to ā€œTaste Atlas” for the cheese image and cheese facts. If any of you know some cheeses that I haven’t done yet I would love some input!

Here is your daily cheese facts: Catupiry is a Brazilian brand of soft, processed cheese developed by the Italian immigrant Mario Silvestrini in the state of Minas Gerais in 1911. It falls into the ‘requeijĆ£o’ category, a generic term for loose, ricotta-like creamy cheese used to make cheese spread. The name is derived from the native Tupi word meaning ‘excellent’. Catupiry is a famous cheese in Brazil because of its soft, mild taste and low level of acidity. It is made from milk cream, curd mass (fluid milk for skimmed industrial use, sodium chloride), salt and cheese cultures. The whitish cheese is creamy with a liquid consistency. It is easily spread over toast, crackers and bread buns, pizza, and sandwiches. It is available in two types: CatupiryĀ® Original and CatupiryĀ® Light (with less fat and calories).

Also as a note: I post my daily cheese here as well as in my r/dailycheese subreddit.
