I personally prefer the second image. It seems to have a little more dimension and verticality with the Jamon garnish. I may be in the minority but I feel like it could use a little more texture, but that may take away from the cleaner presentation and I’m not a pro so take that with a grain of salt lol.
2nd is a better composition.
The fish looks like it’s wearing a hat.
I would like to see a caper berry. Whole, cut, or maybe just the mid section of one as a disc or barrel.
Everything looks too small on the first plate, fish included. Will hamsters even eat fish?
I’m not a fan of Lil’ Bits of things all over the plate with 1-2 bites of a central thing.
