This is a vegetarian friendly play on takoyaki, just remove the bonito and it’s vegetarian. It’s Potatoes that are mixed with butter, scallion, and salt. Breaded in rice flour. Fried. Then topped with house mayo, kimchi aoli, Furikake, scallion, and bonito.

  1. Interesting amuse idea, but for this sub, the photography could be much better. That picture doesn’t show it off well at all.

    (As a side note (or question) I have never tried furikake but would like to. I see all sorts of variations of it… is there a classic version that I need to try first to see what it is like?)
