This is very pretty… I love the way the colour of the dashi and flowers complement the colour of the tail. It’s really respecting the main ingredient.
Do you have any other angles so we can see the ingredients underneath the foliage?

Looks real nice.
But when I’m paying for snapper and prawns. I want to see more than a tail and flowers presented to me.
And certainly the tail hanging all the way across the rim.
Maybe it’s just me? Again, looks great, just not how I would want it presented

This dish gives me midsummer vibes. It’s beautiful however it’s dressing up a fillet fish and the tail really drives it home.
Very well done I think I can’t stop looking at it

I love the color and theme from the dashi and flowers but the tail doesn’t work for me on that plate. Maybe a longer oval with the flowers spread across asymmetrically so you can see more fish too:)

I really like this. Do you find that the rose impacts the flavor of the dashi positively or negatively? I can’t quite get my brain around it lol
Very pretty plate. I love the color contrasts and the way the pink broth sets off the coral orange of the prawns. I think you could do with about 30% less flowers, but I like the sorrel.
How’d it taste?

looks delicious but im not sure im in love w the tail. idk maybe its because you generally don’t see fish and flowers together in the real world so the tail coming out from under the flowers is a bit jarring to me? it seems like it works for other people so maybe im an outlier here
