octopus looks great. i like the arrangement of the tentacles. charred citrus looks great. for a presentation like this, i think you might want a completely smooth gauc, and probably less of it. could probably replace with an avocado crema to function more like a sauce. right now it looks a bit messy and there’s too much. in the tomato salad, the red onion cuts could definitely be more even, and it just looks tossed on the plate. i think you could thinly slice the tomato for a more delicate and aesthetically pleasing salad. with the restively large total amount of guac and salad, i also think you could put some bread on the plate.

  2. The presentation looks beautiful, but I cannot fathom eating a creature as intelligent as an octopus.

This is a little off topic but what are the differences between octopus and squid? Taste/Texture etc

  4. Maybe it’s just me but any time I see onion chopped so large and irregularly it’s a huge turn off

  5. More attention to detail on your onion cuts. I agree with going for an avo crema over guac as well. Octo looks great.

Thank you for advice buddy, really appreciate it. But tbh it was my first time doing octopus and I consider myself as average cooking enjoyer that’s why it doesn’t look completely high-end 😀 also completely agree on smooth guac but as we were lacking the blender I needed to use what we had ( fork ) 😀 But again thank you for your feedback!
