Escargot was one of those bucket list items in my life. Ran across it on a menu, inquired about it out of gross curiosity. Server’s response – “everything tastes better in butter.”
He wasn’t lying. It’s textured butter and rather underwhelming.

I mean I am willing to accept that these taste nice.
But a bunch of snail shells on a plate is absolutely not food porn. There is nothing visually appealing about this.
The plate looking like it has flies on it adds to the effect.
