This is a dish in the works. Looking for input on playing this one – I can cut the cake differently, etc. I’m happy with it so far!

Looks very nice as is. I’m not a huge fan of the large amount of negative space, that might be my only critique .

Looks great, as for the negative space I actually quite like when a dish has it. But if you wanna fill it up maybe add quinelle of something. Maybe some Gelato or ice cream if you got any. Either way still looks great

Thanks for the feedback! I’ll add more chocolate to fill in the negative space 😉🍫🍰

  7. Would’ve liked an aerial shot. From these povs, it seems like the decoration and the main thing are too close. Too busy. Also, it’s too far left. Off center it, but not too much.

Honestly I think I’d change the plate to a white one for something like this. It’ll make it pop more whilst making it seem less chaotic. But that’s just me.

The only thing I think I could say is there is a lot of warm colors on the plate, adding a cool color (mint, basil or something else green or even blue) would help break it up and keep it from all blending together.

Thanks for the feedback! I’ll tell my cake to be more considerate of negative spaces next time.

I’m really not loving this trend showcasing all the negative space. I think it just encourages a feeling of “where’s the rest of it?” Which would be a shame, because this is beautiful, organic and I bet it tastes delicious.
