I made this today and it's EXCELLENT. What a stellar combo. Highly recommend. I couldn't wait for dinnertime!
I only did one can of creamed corn in the corn pudding. I wanted it to be more like corn bread.
Also, in the NYT video, Melissa Clark says she doesn't know what to do with kale stems. I ground mine up in the blender and added them to the soup. You wouldn't even know they're there!
