Looks like it’ll warm you right up! What’s the meat?

It was time to clear the decks of bits of ingredients I still had lying around from other meals I’d made recently. I had about a half pound of ground beef and Italian sausage from stuffed shells. Four small Yukon golds from a breakfast casserole. Garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, bay leaf, diced tomatoes, tomato soup, and dilatini pasta all were in the pantry. Parmesan cheese was in the fridge. Frozen mixed veggies from a cottage pie were still in the freezer. The only things I picked up on my way home were an onion and bit more beef broth. Combined they make a pretty fantastic soup. Paired with Kirkland Signature Helles-Style Lager and accompanied by Chet Baker and Bill Evans – Complete Recordings
