I don’t know why, but that freaks me out a bit. But I can understand the morbid curiosity. If the price isn’t crazy high, I’d go for it and please report back!

It’s really good. Was much milder than I expected and very creamy texture. It was worth the price for me to try once but honestly I prefer the Meredith Dairy marinated feta for quite a bit less cost.

How much?

I’ll be honest. In my youth, my unwise youth, had I know that feta was sheep cheese I wouldn’t have touched it.
Now chèvre is my favorite daily snack.
I unabashedly eat camel milk cheese every chance I get because it’s very mild and lovely. I don’t get a lot of opportunities to come across it, so when opportunity knocks, I kick the door open.

Carried it a year ago, it’s pretty strong and distinct, kind of like a strong fresh goat or sheep cheese but different, a lot more grassy, definitely not something I’d want to eat a ton of or all the time but definitely something unique to bring to a gathering

I had it about a year ago and loved it. My cheesemonger hasn’t had it since but usually has the Meredith Dairy, which is absolutely delicious. I’ll eat a piece of it for dessert.

I have nipples, Greg. Can you milk me?

I had camel milk before, really strong tasting. Way more so than goat milk. I can see how it would make good cheese. Wasn’t the best in coffee.

Is it supposed to be that bad to call it morbid, are you expecting to die after eating it?

I lived in the Middle East for 7 years and camel milk is delicious!
Probably my favorite to be honest

I read caramel. Both combinations make me feel uneasy.

I’ve never seen this before. I’d give it a shot

Im really interested in trying camel cheese. I developed an allergy to some kinda protein or something that lives in goat/sheep milks and I miss them so flippin got damned much. I think about the goat ricotta I used to make at a restaurant I worked at years ago literally every single day.
I just want to be able to taste that delicious tangy cheesiness and not DIE 😭😭😭
That being said do y’all think camel milk will also murder me

A Somalian guy once told me camel milk cured his aids. Do with that what you will.

We sold camels milk when I worked at whole foods…it tasted fine…apparently it is quite healthy for you

I’m curious because I understand camel’s milk doesn’t produce cheese in the same way as cow or goat.

Today I was this many years and days old when I learnt there is camel milk cheese available. Thank you to this group and the feedback/comments!

I had an off batch that straight up tasted like grass. I can’t remember the explanation from the cheesemaker but he tried my little pot and was giddy to talk about it 🤣.
I need to get my hands on it again.
