Here is your daily cheese facts: This cheese is made by Hoard’s Creamery. This golden and exceptionally creamy aged Governor’s Select cheddar style cheese highlights the special qualities of the farm’s Guernsey milk. Worthy of carrying the Governor’s Select seal, this cheddar honors their founder and former Governor of Wisconsin, W.D. Hoard. The Governor, as he was affectionately called, established the Hoard’s Dairyman Farm in 1899. Today, descendants of his original Guernsey herd help create this remarkable cheese.
