  3. absolutely get this when you’re sick (are those garlic stuffed olives?) but please get some chicken soup or something when you’re feeling up to it! zinc helps with colds too btw

  6. You need some protein and carbohydrates when you’re sick, the body is working overtime to get better. This isn’t helping.

  7. Please give yourself some grace if you are sick. Have some bread or crackers with it.

    This would probably just make me run to the bathroom.

    The vit c should be taken _prior_ to getting sick (like as a daily tablet) and then according to research it can shorten the length of being sick.

    But taking it _after_ you are sick, per research, has no measurable benefit.

    If you want to take something to shorten the cold, try elderberry (sambucus) which, per research, can shorten the length.

    Cold or fever? Starve the latter, feed the former. Either way a few saltines or some toast would do wonders. These people talking about protein are crazy. You know what never made me heal from any illness? Keto 😂
