I just tried this one and the river blue at a cheese show and I agree – absolutely mind blowing cheeses!

Oh, yum! I’ve only tried the Rogue River Blue, and that’s one of the best cheeses I’ve ever tried. I need to see if my local cheese counter carries this one.

We sell this, but I haven’t tried it yet. Now I will. Someone else mentioned Buffalo sauce with it, so I’ll grab some for the Bills game tomorrow.

I’ve been using this for charcuterie boards for over a decade at a number of different restaurants and it is routinely the customer’s favorite. It’s so dang good
So, I’m on record saying I think the Rogue River Blue variety is overhyped…but I just tried Rogue Smokey Blue recently and wow, that one grabbed me right off the bat.
Is it the same cheese as the Rogue River Blue branding, just smoked? I really have no idea; all I know is that I was shocked I would ever love a smokey cheese so much. Usually I think smoking ruins cheeses.

All their Blues are really nice and different enough to matter. The Smokey it’s nice and mild we sell a bunch of it. Also recommend the River Blue as it’s really only available around now.
It’s absolutely S tier and it’s the best thing rogue as a company ever made including their beers.
Time to smoke some blue cheese on my grill. I’ve smoked cheddar and mozzarella but haven’t done blue yet.
