    I agree you could have at least waited until after the pic to nut all over it. I mean it’s nice, but get some control, chef.

    Personal opinion – The chocolate marshmallow feels unwelcome. The madeleine is madeleine sized, but if you found a mold for ever so slightly bigger madeleines it’d make for a more filling dessert but also add to the wow factor as it wouldn’t quite conform to what people expect à madeleine to be

    Joining the other commenters – The… suggestive balm could perhaps be a fine layer on the bottom of the madeleine?

    PS – Clean the messy bits from your plate near the bottom. It also looks like some of it near bottom right is dusty? And be careful on the internet, your face is fully showing in the top left

    The plating looks great for a first attempt. Strictly judging from the standpoint of looks, it has potential.

    I would say the concept falls a little flat. What I mean is that I look at it and I don’t know how to eat it. A Madeleine and a marshmallow are both items that 1. I want to pick up and eat with my hands and 2. feel too casual to be given such a treatment.

    I might be off base here but it feels like you had a great idea for a sauce but didn’t really know what the main component should be to go with the sauce.

  6. I’d change the plate and instead of a the coulis smear maybe pipe bits around the plate. And yes the ejaculate has to go.
