  1. Sorry chef. That is one unappetizing plate. A clunky mess of a plate. Nothing there says ” I gotta eat this”.

Well you must love green tea as it definitely overpowers the dish.your crumbles are way too dense as it kills the appearance of your dish.your foam is creative but what’s your end goal,a salad or a tea drink.
This is unbelievable with basil seeds which are way too strong for such a soft palatable dish.piached pears look way too soft.you might just mix the whole dish together and make a smoothie.πŸ‘Ž

I think the concept is cool. the colors are pretty. it’s pretty desserty, but you have it plated like an entree, which honestly is only bc of your plate selection. Change the plates lose the tea pear, and make a pear sorbet instead, and a Boba foam.

    also discard the basil seeds.

I’m surprised you’re getting such negative reaction. This looks very interesting to me, and I’d love to try it.

  5. Sounds like something I would definitely eat, but looks wise I would really spring for a more circular plating. Small bowl or rimmed plate, pears fanned in a circle over the foam, crumble (a little less) in the middle topped with the peach and seeds. Just more symmetry. Like I said, I would love to try it, just think I could be tightened up a bit.

  6. Don’t let em get you down. In the right setting, this is perfect plating. Reading the description made my jaw drop.

  7. an interesting looking dish. i think the purple frothy stuff is a bit too dominant visually though. i think using less of it in a more controlled way would really accentuate what you’ve done with everything else nicely.
