This is my first time my chef let me come up with my own plating, so any suggestions or criticism is more than welcome.

The queso around the outside would probably look better as a single smear. Pico can probably still be dribbled, but maybe not around the entire plate. Perhaps try something a little more asymmetrical with the two of them.
Dusting the top with a little something (paprika?) wouldn’t be a bad idea, either.

The eggs are getting lost in this dish. Try the chorizo underneath, and maybe chop the pico and cilantro smaller for a little more refinement. Agree with u/skoffs about the queso.

First, I’m a home cook so take my comments/suggestions accordingly.
I think this is a great direction for a TexMex take on the classic.
Egg: Could you have included the egg, perhaps sunny side up? Would be kool to see an egg covered in sauce dripping into the components below.
Sauce: would it work if you thinned out the cheese sauce and covered the top? Or maybe went with different sauce. One of my favorite is a avocado/cilantro/creama/lime/garlic sauce.
Again, I cook at home not in a pro kitchen so I have no idea of the professional implications of my critique/suggestions.
