Would love critiques! I think it’s too dense / needs some breathing room, and also I’m the royal idiot who was going to cook duck to go with this but I managed to get duck leg instead of breast, and with 30 minutes to dinner… Yeah, went with some alternatives that didn’t fit the plate. Whoops.

I dig the presentation, not sure about the base layer, seems heavy for a salad, but I also don’t know what it is. For me personally, beets, celery root and radish don’t immediately evoke spring, but im still kinda feeling it.

This is lovely to look at, but you’re giving all the seasons with those veggies as opposed to “spring”

  4. I dig it. The color, perhaps simply due to photo, seems a bit washed out/dull. Might i suggest a watermelon radish or some red/green oil for a bit of color pop.

The beets look tasty, i would like to eat them please.

Plating looks pretty good, I would like to have some nuts in there for taste and texture, also a little more greens.

Plating is ok, I would stand up the carrots to create a little more height. I would twist rice noodles around a metal cylinder and fry them, lay them on top because this needs more circular visuals with rice curls or drops on the side of a bright red or purple sauce or white to lead the viewer in. Just some thoughts
