I’ve never used one before because I assumed they were all just overpriced caffeine pills wrapped in marketing but I keep hearing people say they’ve helped with snacking, cravings, etc.

EDIT: Tried this one not expecting much and I have been pleasantly surprised, would recommend it 🙂

Problem is there are so many brands and half of them sound like they were named by a random name generator.

I’m eyeing Hunter Burn and Hourglass Fit. They both look legit-ish—nice packaging, decent claims, not sold in tubs that scream banned in most countries.

Has anyone actually used either of these? Or any appetite suppressant?

Would love to hear what’s worked.

if you’re looking to quiet food noise, ozempic or similar medications is probably the only thing clinically proven to help. I definitely wouldn’t go buying any of those random products because who knows what’s in them?

If you’re just looking to stay/feel full for longer, eating more fiber and drinking more water helps.

    No one.

People are just trying to get your money. Don’t trust the marketing and just do what works: protein, fiber, and avoid food that comes in boxes/wrapped in plastic when you can. You do not need to buy something to give you motivation or change your life. These are scams to separate a fool from his money.

If you are medically obese, Ozempic and similar medications do work, but they come with risks. Talk to your doctor.

I swear by plain yogurt ! No toppings!! One spoon curbs my appetite and stops cravings.

I’m on bupropion (Wellbutrin) for my depression and it made me completely loose my appetite

The best proven things for “appetite suppressant” or something similar:

    – Caffeine
    – Non-nutritive sweeteners
    – Protein
    – Fiber

GLP-1s and their medication cousins are masters at this, too. But those are a different category than what it seems you are looking for.

  6. Being busy not gonna lie . When I’m super busy and not home, I end up putting off eating until I have time

foods high in fiber. black beans are goated for making you feel full

  8. Anything that is a “supplement” can make any health claim they want with zero proof.

Have you talked to your doctor about an appetite suppressant? They can prescribe something that works.

Almost any hot drink does it for me. I prefer hot black tea with a splash of soy milk when I’m feeling snacky but not necessarily hungry. I add two spoons of fiber powder as well. It usually holds me over until the next meal.

  11. What worked for me:

    Decaf, eating grapefruits with rinds.

    Also Concerta

Food poisoning, I could barely sip broth and lost around 10 pounds that week.

    But seriously:
    – Caffeine (without sugar, I like tea)
    – Fiber (I like to take some psyllium husk powder before a meal so I feel more sated)
    – staying busy, idleness leads to mindless snacking

I hope you find something. My cravings are purely oral fixation. When I was a smoker, it was all about the act of smoking, not the nicotine. I quit smoking over ten years ago and I still miss it.

Semaglutide and mental illness. It’s not a great answer but it’s honest!

  15. I’m using berberine, 600 MG per capsule when I eat carbs. It also seems to help with sweet cravings and food noise at night. Also trying glucomannan from Now brands, 3 capsules 30 – 60 minutes before dinner to not eat so much.

nicotine is pretty good too actually. “good”

  17. I drink a lot of kool aid without the sugar. So it’s like tart water. It makes me full and tricks me into thinking it’s a treat.

But I also smoke. So there’s that.

Ephedrine in the form of OTC Bronkaid 25mg and a cup of coffee. Aspirin is recommended as well. It’s an old school bodybuilding appetite suppressant called the ECA stack. A 30 day supply costs me $10, much cheaper and quicker to get than GLP1 drugs.

There are minor side effects like sweating and a speedy heart if you drink too much coffee, and you shouldn’t take any of the Bronkaid past noon or it will keep you up. I use it as a fasting aid twice a week, taking 50mg in the morning and 25mg at noon kills my appetite for the entire day. The next day I just eat normally again.

All the effective OTC ones were taken off the market for “safety”

  20. Damn. These comments have me stressed out cause I feel like I’ve tried all of these except ozempic lol
