    I feel you’re covering too much of the beautiful octopus up. I would shave the fennel much thinner to expose more, but this looks delicious none the less!

  2. Love it, great flavors and plating. The fennel could be more thinly sliced but that’s about it.

    Everything sounds great but i agree with other comments that you’re kind of covering up the octopus.

    This looks incredible!
    Only suggestion would be to have the fennel and citrus salad wrapped around the octopus. But I’ll never make anything this good so take it as you will.

    If you’ve got an electric meat slicer at your place you should try shaving the fennel on that. You can get it super duper thin and a quick soak in ice water makes it curl up nicely.

    Looks great. Definitely do not listen to this bullshit about separating the components. Its plated with the intent of how it should be eaten. And its sexy.

    That octopus looks like it was cooked beautifully. Don’t cover it up with the other components. I would personally do a smaller portion of octopus and arrange the other components and garnish around it.
