I am pro-plate actually.
I drink my belgian beers out Delirium and La Chouffe glasses. I drink fernet out of a fernet glass. I drink light reds out of a burgundy glass.
I would eat my spanish food on my spanish plate too. It’s cute and charming. Pairs well with the more rustic/traditional plating. Y’all need to have fun.

I love the plate! Reminds me of the seventies and eighties when you could stumble upon these simple-looking trattorie and unexpectedly be served food you still remember 40 years later, so good.
The plating itself looks the part too! Maybe not refined in a fine dining way, but it matches.
