hey guys!!! i saw the Halo Top PB chocolate chip cookie dough in my grocery store recently and decided to expirment with it. the recipe calls for the following: Halo Top cookie dough mix, 3 tbsp of butter, 3 tbsp of water. so, me being me, i think, “hm. what’s the butter really doing for this recipe. bahhh let me not use it and see how it goes”. to my surprise, it went so well!! these cookies taste AMAZING! here’s what i did: i poured the mix into my bowl, put 3 tbsp of water in, stirred it. put one more tbsp in, stirred it. one more, stirred it. etc. until i got to the 8th tbsp of water which after stirring, i then made the balls and put them on the tray. i baked them for about 14 mins, but kept an eye on them. they honestly came out amazing; a bit doughy and crumbly, so let them harden a bit before eating or storing. as far as flavor, they’re packed. still so peanut buttery!! as i’m writing this, im eating one lol. i’m more than happy to answer any questions! ENJOYYYY <3

  1. Try using pumpkin instead of butter too! It will taste like pumpkin but I love that so it’s perfect

  2. I love these! I can’t find the mix near me anymore though 😭 life pro tip: don’t eat more than 2 in a day. It will ROCK your guts 😅😬

  3. I use cashew milk, egg whites, and/or some no sugar added yogurt to add some protein and I love them!

I’ve made this mix in every which way and they taste like BUTT 😭😭😭 I ended up cutting the regular nestle frozen cookie dough squares into even tinier pieces and baking teeny tiny regular chocolate chip cookies

  5. Butter in baking tends to add richness and flavor. It also has added moisture content. A common switch for butter or oil is applesauce. I wonder how that would go.
