Only personally, I would’ve removed the main steam from the tomato. I do enjoy how it looks, but I feel it might be a barrier for the person eating it.
They would have to move around it or remove it to enjoy the dish.

Looks great and sounds very cool. Never tried grilling cucumbers but it can’t be as hard as watermelon.
