  1. This looks really nice, purée looks great. I think one more element would be good – maybe some sautéed fennel or shaved fennel salad would help round the plate out

  2. if i were eating this i would probably want smaller pieces of walnuts. other than that this looks incredible, i really dig the plate too.

    I am very intrigued by the fennel fronds with the candied walnuts playing against what I’m guessing is a puree with some kick.

  5. Even though at first glance it seems monotone and uninteresting, it really is a beautiful dish; both in design and execution. It’s autumn on a plate. Very nicely done!!
