    Other than the bottom of the loaf being burnt, this is *very* pretty. Would be a lovely light lunch if there were some protein nearby as well.

  3. I forgot to say what it was. It is inspired from Jeremy Fox’s dish peas and pecorino. Except I put it on bread and instead of setting the custard in a mould I piped it. It’s sourdough bread, dried cherry tomatoes, fresh peas straight out their pod blanched and deshelled, pea puree made using pea pod stock, parmesan custard and pickled shallots. Just trying to practice my plating so I went fancy

    pumpernickel? looks delicious the bottom kinda look burnt in the pic but the bread is already brown so its probably fine. its all about the contrast

    Why call it pea bread if tomatoes, pickled shallot, and parsley are the main components?
