    I know Mont Blancs traditionally look like this, but there is no getting away from the fact that this looks like a poop with nuts in it.

    That being said, it’s plated nicely with the meringue.

    how could you poop in an artfull way like that? i can only imagine someone with a stenosis in his rectum sitting on a swivel chair while pooping.

    This looks like poop on snow with flies stuck in it, some say it doesn’t but it does. I feel like I look at this dish and see the flies buzzing around it. Figure out a different shape or a different way to do the color. Or fully embrace it and place it on some lemon gel that looks like pee.

  7. I LOVE mont blanc. But I also think that yours looks like poop. But why?

    Let me try to formulate contructive advice:

    Firstly, the colour turned out a bit dark. This adds to the misunderstanding and poop-ness. I would have been careful of that the moment I saw the colour. Usually I see mont blanc with a lighter colour.

    Secondly, the lines are well done but it looks too straight.     I would try and add the nuts not on the side but either on top or do something else with it. The meringue is very pretty!

    Personally I would also love a lil flake of edible gold on the meringue.
