    Was it frozen? The meat looks a little too striated to be fresh.

    I like the plating though. It shows you should have the duck, broc and sauce together. But if you want the puree, dip away.

  2. I like the ideas here. Color use is great, and each element is nicely constructed. I think it looks a little too flat and sparse though. A tighter grouping, a smaller plate, another element to tether the two spots, and/or some more vertical might help.

    BTW, this is a little more general, but broccolini might as well be broccoli or asparagus at this point. I’d bury it lower in the description.

  3. Hey, I know I’m late to this and you 100% understand plating more than me. But looking at your other posts, this one is kind of “bland”, in a way. I think you can maybe add one or two things that will compliment the duck while also adding in terms of style, maybe adding some height can work!
