I love how perfectly straight the tail on that meteor is. It really grabs your eye.

Gorgeous! I love how the tuile echos the design on the exterior of the dish. Quite elegant, peaceful, and makes one want to savor it.

Absolutely love this. The tuile is super sharp and neat. I really love how kinetic the pine nut meteor looks. Fantastic plating. Great choice of cutlery and pot too.
Acid_Monster on
Love it. I have absolutely zero criticism.
Also, man this tuile pattern is doing the rounds on this subreddit lol

I guess I’ve looked at too much of Heston’s oranges and whatever Amaury is doing and I thought that plates are edible too…
after reading the comments – guess not?

Hells ya. Plating is perfect for being tidy and deliberate. Your sorbet rose is amazing.

If this is secret feel free to not share – how did you get the meatier to be so long and straight?

Where on earth do you work, where this is what’s getting sent out?! This is gorgeous. Different but not too extra. This is great

Can you tell a little about the technique you used to create the meteor? It’s so nicely made, I wonder how you did it! 🙂

Wow! How’d you think of this flavor combination? Especially the bayleaf and passionfruit

Did you set the posset? Or is it liquid?

Just stopped by to say Pine Nut Meteor would make a great name for a metal band! Also beautiful dish.

Pro chef’s wife comment: this is exquisite. I would travel for this plate. I’d probably ask for a second.

I mostly lurk this sub, but this is so gorgeous I feel the need to come out of the shadows and say so. I love the contrast in lines and textures and the color palette keeps it from feeling too busy. Really, really gorgeous! I love the clean line on that meteor especially!

Wow! Bay leaf posset! Is it a regular lemon cream posset infused with bay leaf?

The cohesion between the tuille and the crock is such a thoughtful detail! This whole dish treads the line between approachable and elegant so gracefully. I love the idea of bay leaf to counteract some of the sweetness.
You should be very proud of yourself!
