    Clean the rim, take the tails off the shrimp, chop the chives waaaaay finer, cut your bacon more uniformly or, better yet, make lardons. Is there a sauce? Is there any veg? You’re missing something.

    I swear I don’t get the appeal of leaving the tails on the shrimp. You’ve already cleaned most of it, go all the way and clean the tail. Why would I need to struggle to take off the tail using a fork and a knife, or even worse having to use my hands?
