I’m on holiday in Amsterdam and just walked past Kaasbar. Lured in by cheesey smells I had to stop. It was a truly outstanding cheese experience. Little dishes of cheese with pairings, enough plain crackers, beer and wine pairings.
I got three plates, beer, and water for €35.
Began with a honky raw cheese with chocolate and granola. Then a mild truffled situation with seaweed and lemon curd. Finally a punchy blue goats cheese with pear.
The staff were very helpful with recommendations too!
