I read a few months ago that you can buy a cheaper cheese at the supermarket and store it for 6 months – a year at home to get a cheddar like cheese. I wanted to try and when I checked my cheese it looked like this. The packaging is not as air tight as it was but there ks no mold or smell to it so the bag seems to be holding well. Should I throw it out and try again in a different way or keep it?
