  1. Well, there’s something to be said for the neat lines and the flavors sounding like a good fit, but this dish wouldn’t satisfy a squirrel. Also not a fan of the useless circle of parsley.

  2. I appreciate your post, it’s a good try with thought behind it looking for feedback.
    For something symmetrical like this to work, it has to be *absolutely perfect.*

    If it’s a circle, a line, or definitive geometric shape it must not have imperfections or they magnify each other.

    You put a nice ring mold of green, but the lines across the middle aren’t straight—the thick squash moons change shape cooking. And they don’t look round at all.

    The dotted line of pomegranate looks weird.
    Would someone do this with peas or corn?…then why 6 arils? In the Greek mythology I think she ate 3, so now we get 1/4 year of winter.

    Sadly looks like there’s not enough sauce, and the tails don’t stop in the same way in relation with the perfect green circle. Three would look better than two, but very tough to get all of them right.

    Flavors sound good! But execution needs to start over and reconfigure all of it with more substantial amounts to eat as well. Try less symmetry.

  3. I just bought some Ras al Hanout for the first time last week, and used for the first time on a sweet potato… I can understand that it must’ve worked well with your squash as well!
