  1. While I would never make an asparagus star, I can’t lie, the dots kinda make it work and I kinda like it, but in a , “this feels weird to admit kinda way.”

  2. An interesting plate, for sure. The asparagus is awkwardly placed. Is the puree meant to pair with the steak? Is the steak on risotto? I really like the way the steak is presented. It looks perfectly prepared.

    It looks a little over orchestrated, 14 asparagus, but only 7 slices of mushroom is just to much form over function.

  4. This doesn’t look good. And you should never have any of your elements stretching into the curve of the plate on the outer rim. But yeah like the other guy said it looks like a butt hole

  5. The asparagus makes it look like a sea monster or something. Just trying way too hard. Same with the perfectly spiraled mushrooms.

    I like the purée dots against then black plate.

    Just pack the asparagus tightly next to each other all facing the same way under the steak. If it works it works no need to re-invent the wheel. Beautiful Cook and presentation on the steak, love what you did with the mushrooms
