“White Chocolate Experiment” with white chocolate mousse spheres, yuzu sorbet, micro sponge cake, and black cherry fruit gel.
I was told to post this here from r/kitchenconfidential :). I have been learning a lot about plating recently, and I feel like I am finding my passion.
That is very eloquently done. The use of the white plate enhances the visuals quite nicely and I love the asymmetry.
Sounds like you’ve done a great job with the flavors and textures also.

Eating it would feel like defiling art.

Flavors, textures, and assembly looks good. White colored plate is good, but maybe a different one? Also would like another angle of it instead of from the top.

It’s really beyond beautiful. Well done, Chef.

Amazing looking dessert. I don’t like the plate though. A simple, flat, round plate would be much better IMO.

Hello young chef! Was going to comment on the other sub, cause your dish is so beautiful I initially thought it was from this sub.
Beyond the compliments, and sorry for my English, this is how I’d improve it, there is basically two ways in my opinion.
1. Play more heavily on the black and white contrast, lose the greens and add some kind of black dark grey powder
2. Add a super vivid element (live bright red or green), maybe a glaze, to enhance it from the b/w background

This is impeccable and very, very clean. The only thing I’d offer is to play around more with asymmetry. Asymmetry offers more for the eye to linger on. It’s visually more interesting than an almost symmetrical dish.

Super cute. Very calming. I’m thinking green oval as well. Maybe a blue. This is fine but deserves more. Have fun.

I hate white chocolate. But the way you did this makes me want to attempt to like it just so I could eat this. Very pretty!

One of the best I’ve seen on here. Truly artistic.

Great design and sounds delicious! Wish it were on more of a matte plate. The streaking in the negative space is distracting the heck out of me though.

I saw it yesterday and totally loved it. Showed some of my colleagues, too. It’s really pretty
