    I guess half of one strawberry and one blueberry is technically “mixed berries”.

    you need a bigger vessel for the custard so your whip doesn’t cover the entire dish. i would also do macerated berries. maybe chiffonade of fresh mint or some micro mint

    The thought of going to the effort of making a proper crème brûlée, a god level dessert, just to muddle up the lovely custard texture and flavor with whipped cream is making me a little nauseous.

    Good on you for trying especially at this stage in your culinary journey but I highly doubt you’ve found a better way to serve this iconic dessert.
