Made this yesterday for my sister's wedding as I said. Just curious on thoughts on it. the spread included
Alps Blossom raw cow milk (Crowd favorite)
Igor Gorgonzala (The groom fell in love with this one…sorry sis)
butterkaise (Pretty good)
as well as a regular store Extra sharp chedder, swiss, and pepper jack. gotta have to standard stuff, right?
the last one was a port wine spreadable. my mother got that one.
of course a summer sausage bites and genoa salami. i know, its not cheese but damn good.
crackers were ritzs and butter crackers my mother got.( Love her but she just cant beat my boards) then the 6 pack variety ones I bought from Aldi. they are awesome. Including cracked weat and rosemary crackers as wells a s other types.
the grapes were there as more or less eddiable decoration.
I didnt have alot of prep time. thought I could get it done after the ceromony while the bride and groom got pictures but it turned out that while they had pictures done the appitizers would be avalible while we waited. I also found out, I was the appitizer. There were no others. so i had about 30 minutes to cut and place. got 80% done by the time the ceromony started and got the other 20% done a quickly after.
Everyonr loved it.
