Made these crab rangoons in the air fryer tonight and they came out super crispy without deep frying.

I did both the traditional fold and a simple triangle fold and both worked great.

    **Easy Air Fryer Crab Rangoon**

    **Servings:** ~10–12 rangoons
    **Prep time:** 10 minutes
    **Cook time:** 10 minutes

    # Filling

    • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
    • 1/3 cup imitation crab, chopped
    • 1 green onion, sliced (optional)
    • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
    • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
    • A good pinch of salt

    # Additional Ingredients

    • 10–12 wonton wrappers
    • Water (for sealing edges)
    • Oil spray

    # Instructions

    **1. Make the filling**
In a bowl mix together the cream cheese, imitation crab, green onion, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and salt until well combined.

Taste and add more salt and/or a dash of extra Worcestershire if needed.

    **2. Fill the wontons**
Place about 1 teaspoon of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.

    **3. Fold**
    Two easy options:

    **Traditional rangoon fold**
Bring the four corners together and pinch to seal.

    **Simple triangle fold**
Fold wrapper corner-to-corner and seal edges with water.

Pinch the edges well and try to get any air out from inside the wrapper.

    **4. Air fry**
Lightly spray the rangoons with oil.

Air fry at **400°F (204°C) for 10 minutes**, flipping halfway through.

Cook until golden brown and crispy.

    **5. Serve**
    Serve hot with:
    • sweet chili sauce
    • duck sauce
    • soy sauce

🔥 **Tip:** Don’t overfill the wontons or they may burst while cooking.

It would be worth doing a comparative analysis on the timeline involving the introduction of the air fryer and GLP-1s.
