Really well put together, colours are incredible. I just find everything looks rather dry.

  2. this looks damn good.

my two cents, i’d do that same swoosh a little closer to center but still offset and get those two components closer. bunch up the figs and garlic on the opposite side, lean those cuts of the hen up on it with the wing as high as you can rest it. i think you need some verticality.

shout out for the best thing i’ve seen on here in a minute

  3. The upper half looks appealing, but the bottom half doesn’t. That’s just my opinion tho, I don’t really see myself enjoying eating a lot of fruits and veggies like that with protein. I don’t know if you did anything to the pear or figs or pepper/tomato but it looks like they’re raw besides the garlic.

  4. Ah yes, the raw vegetable plater is back again.

I’m very happy to eat this, minus the tomatoes which don’t belong at all, but it feels stingy and unfinished. There’s no starch, barely any accompaniment, and what there is is just some raw fruit. It’s too much protein to be a starter and too little food in total to be a main. Unless you’re a hungry rabbit, in which case it’s probably perfect.

More sauce, for the taste and so it curled around half the plate and don’t hide it completely with the chicken. Also is the side a salad? Does it have any sauce?

The undressed veggie section doesn’t make sense, and though this is colorful, the colors are complimentary. Hen looks cooked well though!

  7. That garlic looks both over and under cooked. Lower heat for longer I think.

Otherwise agree with most of the other comments, it’s a pretty plate but the side needs some tweaking.
